Modular Synthesis

Modular Synthesis

My journey into modular synthesis started about a year ago at Synth Fest in Milwaukee. I built my first project at Modular Addict, saw great performances, and got inspired. The creative exploration of this brings me back to why I got into electronic music in the first place. Playing my eurorack live has been a welcome challenge. It has given me another way to practice going with the flow and being present. I imagine I'll still do some writing on the computer but am working on incorporating that approach with this one. Right now my style is pretty heavy both in rhythmic patterns and bass. Sign up for my monthly email to stay updated with this new musical journey and to find out when my first cassette recording is ready. That's in the works with Zetsumetsu right now!

Here's my current studio setup. I use an Akai MPK mini for my midi controller, but it's hiding underneath a Paper Girls comic. Also, I've added more modules to my rack. My account on Modular Grid always has my most current rack info.
